2014 CALI FAIR FESTIVAL

The Cali Fair has been celebrated every year since 1957 in Cali, the capital of Valle del Cauca, Colombia. The festival runs from December 25 to 30 and features major events like the Salsódromo, the Cabalgata, and the Superconcert. Sometimes, people refer to it as the Sugar Cane Fair. Throughout the festivities, orchestras from the local area, across Colombia, and around the world perform a wide range of tropical dance music.

The Cali Fair is considered the biggest year-end event in the region. Every year, about 2.2 million people attend, including around 300,000 international tourists. Many visitors come for Cali’s warm weather, exciting events, and lively nightlife, making the city a top destination in Colombia and Latin America during the festival.
