2009 LAUNCH OF COLOMBIA EN MISSISSAUGA
The first Colombia en Mississauga event took place in 2009. That year, organizers started a tradition of naming sponsors after Colombia’s national symbols as a tribute to the country’s heritage. These include the Condor, the national bird; the Orchid, the national flower; and the Wax Palm, the national tree.
